Purpose of establishment
Article 34 of the National Sports Promotion Act, Article 6 of the Korean Paralympic Committee by laws
- Developing Lifetime Sports as healthy leisure activities to improve the health of people with disabilities
- Developing Elite Sports through guidance and management of sports organizations by event and each type of disability
- Contributing to social inclusion through sports, and developing para sports and culture for people with disabilities in seoul
History
- 2006
- Jul Transferred the task of disabled sports (Dept of welfare for the disabled -> Dept of Sports Policy)
- Nov Established plans for activating disabled sports
- 2007
- Mar Held the 1st board of directors of Seoul sports Association for the Differently-abled (establishment)
- Apr Approved as a Seoul branch of Korea paralympics committee (President Oh, Se-hoon)
- Aug Held the 2nd board of directors of Seoul sports Association for the Differently-abled
- 2008
- Jan Held the 3rd board of directors of Seoul sports Association for the Differently-abled
- Approved 18 member organizations (14 main member organizations, 3 cooperating member organizations, 1 recognized member organization)

Hosted the 3rd Seoul sports Association for the Differently-abled General Assembly of Founding Representatives-Established Seoul Para Judo Committee and Korea Deaf Sports Federation Currently: 35 approved member organizations(full members:25, associate members:5, approved:4)
